By basing itself on Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area and Shenzhen Special Economic Zone,TheSchool of ArchitectureandUrban Planning(SAUP),Shenzhen University has actively expandeditsacademic exchanges at home and abroad,andset up foreign exchange networks at different levels, coveringmore than 60 universities (institutions) in Europe, America, Asia Pacific and Oceania,thus building a bridgegoingstraight to top European and American universities.

SAUPhas conducted in-depth exchanges with architectural colleges and design institutions in Europe, America, Japan, Hong Kong,Taiwan and other countries and regions, and sought for new educational ideas and approaches constantly under the background of "globalization”, so as to enhancing the teaching quality. A lot of famous visiting professors are employed by theSAUP, such as the winner of Pritzker Prize Toyo Ito,Academician Cheng TainingandCuiKai,etc. More than 30 academic conferences have been hosted inthe SAUP, for examples, the SAUP Seminar andtheCross Strait Campus of University Conference. Besides, more than 10 exhibitions inShenzhen-Hong Kong City/ArchitectureBI-CITYBiennalewere also organized and planned bySAUP. Teachers of SAUP actively delivered speechesand projectsin the "BI-CITY Biennale" by giving full play of the geographical advantages of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. More than 10 bilingual courses are offered bySAUPevery academic year for the purpose of driving the coupling effect of teaching, research and foreign exchanges.
